In short
- Your voice becomes text on your iPhone. The audio never leaves the phone and is not stored.
- What you type with the Lavder STT keyboard is neither read nor recorded. Lavder only receives the text you choose to send to the assistant (a question, a message to rewrite, the messages or the screenshot you add as context).
- Without your explicit consent (the “Web search and cloud models” screen), nothing leaves the phone. With “On device only” turned on, nothing ever leaves it.
- We don’t sell data, we don’t run ads, we don’t use third-party tracking or analytics tools, and we don’t train models on your content.

Payments are handled by Apple: Lavder does not receive your payment details.
Providers
- Apple (transcription, on-device models, Private Cloud Compute, iCloud, App Store). Private Cloud Compute processes requests without storing them (apple.com/privacy).
- Hostinger (servers in Frankfurt, Germany), where Cloud LavderSTT runs.
- OpenRouter (United States) and the providers of the free models we reach through OpenRouter (currently Google AI Studio for Gemma and ModelRun for Qwen): they receive the text of the request, and the photo if there is one, only when Apple’s models are not enough and you have consented to cloud processing. We only use models that do not train on request data; Google may keep it for up to 55 days to prevent abuse. Transfers outside the EU are based on the Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal basis
Performance of the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR); consent for sending data to the cloud (art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw in Settings › Intelligence; legitimate interest for security and abuse prevention (art. 6.1.f).
Your rights
In Settings › Privacy › “What LavderSTT knows about me” you can see your data, and with Delete everything you erase it from the phone, from iCloud and from our server. You can also write to us at info@lavder.com to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Romania ANSPDCP, or the one in your country; in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
